This canvas holds a very special place in my heart, as it took me on a soft, evolving journey, slowly and gently over about 5 months. Shape and light was born only by the colours chosen to be included in this commission. I painted intuitively, and listened to what the painting whispered to me. There was such a strong feeling of awe and quietness, when it was finished, that made me feel as if I, again had touched something sacred. The Portal seems to be a repeated theme for me, that is like the many doors we pass through in our life’s journey. Nothing stays the same, but there are portals of energy we pass through, into the next vortex of our universe. The energy helps to support us as it pushes us through.
